PEMRA revoked Landing Rights Permission of Nickelodeon

PEMRA – The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority on Monday revoked the licence of Nickelodeon channel for airing cartoons dubbed in Hindi language. PEMRA said that the licence was revoked over violation of PEMRA directives which was announced on 19 Oct 2016.

PEMRA announced on October 19 that any satellite channel or those with landing rights would face bans over screening of Indian content. ARY Communications is the channel’s landing rights holder in Pakistan.
